Job Profile- Operations Head

Job Overview

Ensure all the operations run smoothly in compliance with company’s strategic plan and operating standards. Set operations standards and procedures to achieve operational excellence. Drive outlet sales and seek new business opportunities or lead promotions to maximize revenue. Head senior managers’ team to resolve operational issues regarding staffing, cost control, purchasing, standards implementation, guest complaints, etc.

 

 Roles and Responsibilities:-

1.         Implement company strategic plan and ensure brand standards are followed.

2.         Ensure financial targets are met and drive the business to increase profits.

3.         Review working practices to ascertain if it is successful and if not, devise an alternative.

4.         Prepare and submit an annual operational budget, manage effectively within this budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.

5.         Review and approve outlet purchasing, capital expenditure, pricing and salary change.

6.         Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning, commitment to quality.

7.         Ensure staff members receive timely and appropriate training and development.

8.         Report guest comments and resolutions for specific operational issues experienced by guest.

9.         Direct Asset & Equipment maintenance, physical stock audit and operation excellence audit.

10.     Ensure outlet stock is properly managed for smooth operations.

 

 Skills and Qualifications:-

1         Experience in strategic execution and operations. Skill in setting operations and procedures. Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.

2.         Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources, analyse and interpret financial data. Knowledge of menu design, stock management, purchasing, project management. Ability to develop and deliver presentations.

3.         Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.
