Job Description

·         This role requires a deep immersive experience in the Retail/ Apparel / Hosiery Industry.

·         This role requires driving the Sales Function in a Territory / Area. The incumbent must own the business area and increases the sales and revenue by driving ‘constructive relationships’ with his/her own sales executives, retailers and distributors.

·         He / she must have an extremely sound system at hand to resolve internal / external customer complaints regarding sales and service.

·         He/she must be adept and skilled at Strategic Planning around the overall Sales Effort.

·         He/she must adept and skilled at report creation, analysis, interpretation and reporting up thru’ the ranks.

Educational Qualification:

·         Qualification: MBA/PGDBM

·         Specialization: Marketing, Sales.

Work Experience:

·         No. of years: 7-11 years

·         Capacity Sales Volumes handled should have been in the range 1 Cr with a distributor range of 4 to 5.

·         Must report effectively to Regional Sales Manager ( reporting manager) around ROI ranging 10 to 12 Percent

·         Area of work: Overseeing allocated Area Sales, while reviewing  the operational performance of the dealers & distributors

Functional Skills:

·         Good knowledge of Sales, ideally in a Retail / Apparel/ Hosiery sector would be an ideal match.

·         Must have skills to develop the  Distribution Channel Development for existing & new range of products

·         Education and Training — Must be able to host and drive training sessions for his/her sales team, and track and measure the impact of the trainings.

·         Must be skilled at Customer or Client Relationship Management  in Identifying, Appointing & networking with financially strong reliable channel partners, resulting in deeper market penetration and reach

Behavioral Competencies

·         Must have extremely sound relationship building skills with all stakeholders

·         Must have the ability to be open and discuss with the team around issues with respect to business continuity.

·         Must demonstrate honesty and must lead from the front on Integrity.

·         Must have mentoring ability for the team.

 

Other Job Requirements:

·         Plan & Execute Rolling Sales Plan in respective zone to achieve product wise targets

·         Giving Strategic Direction to team for Sales & operations to achieve Targets

·         Development of Systems & Processes to Achieve Organizational Objectives.

·         Plan & Execute Rolling Sales Plan in respective zone to achieve product wise targets
