Job Description


Experience- Minimum 1 year

Overall manage the production and supply work. Manage new product development, daily production, chef training, hygiene and food safety, warehouse inventory and supply chain.


Primary Responsibilities

1.        Ensure food is prepared up to standards of quality, hygiene, recipe and presentation.

2.        Maintain comprehensive product knowledge including ingredients, equipment, suppliers, markets, and current trends and make recommendations for appropriate adjustments to kitchen operations accordingly.

3.        Maintain a hygienic kitchen and personal hygiene and ensure company’s standards are maintained.

4.        Conduct On the Job training to ensure all employees have the right skills and knowledge for production work.

5.        Coach and guide team to ensure all company policy and procedures are followed.

6.        Make weekly duty roster, update attendance with HR and plan weekly tasks in advance.

7.        Conduct daily briefing to production team to ensure all information is updated to everyone.

8.        Communicate and check weekly of production in other locations to ensure consistency and standards.

9.        Maintain required records of receiving, production, consumption, wastage, temperature, deep cleaning ect.

10.    Ensure good interdepartmental and departmental working relationships and communication.

11.    Ensure daily operations run smoothly by checking that work has been carried out correctly, the daily function sheet and miseen place lists, and setting priorities in accordance to last minute changes.

12.    Inspect food stores and refrigerated areas and correct, where necessary, storage methods to comply with Health & Safety regulations to avoid spoilage.

13.    Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained in all areas of the kitchen such as machinery, small kitchen equipment, floors and fridges to ensure a sufficient supply of crockery and cutlery.

14.    Manage store inventory and place purchasing orders to ensure smooth operation.

15.    Dispatch required material and food items to outlet as per the standard.

16.    Conduct food trials and new product development to boost company revenue and customer satisfaction.

17.    Continuously improve and innovate product and work process for higher efficiency, productivity and success.

18.    Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly as well as instructing others on correct procedures.

19.    Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify directors of potential dangers.

20.    Other work assigned by management.


Qualifications Required

Minimum 1 Year work experience in Kitchen, 1 Year experience in similar position.

Excellent skills in communication, learning, work ethics, work organization, multi task management and problem solving. Strong sense of ownership and responsibility, good task follow up and updating skill, quick adapt to change. Enjoy of serving and assisting others.

Good understanding of MS Office and paper work.
