Business development Manager  


Role Purpose


Business development manager  will be responsible for  : develop sales and marketing strategy for product (marbles ) in the assigned City/region or state

Explore new market and develop Marketing strategy, exhibition ,new trend ,tie-ups with corporate ,build relation with architect ,builders, real estate, projects

1)     Business development


·         Develop relation with architect enhance sales , introduce our product ,variety quality  

·          Build strong relationship with architect  for take potential customer data and expose our product ,

·         Explore new  projects , individual banglow , commercial project for sale marbles  

·         Explore new market, clients, and  tie-ups with potential customer

·         Enhance business activities and reach end user  

·         Research local market and meet to customer for understand their needs

·         Do proactively focus for catch customer 

·         Doing the market research activities 

·         Meeting the end users directly to take the competitors head on so that the clients should buy the marble from our factory directly

·         Coordination with “sales team” at kishangarh

·         Give brief note to architect about product variety and quality, presentation about product, and get our product specified in their projects   

·         Understand customer  requirement 

·         Maintain strong data base for potential customer

·         Tracking and interacting with the buyer for the future requirements of marble.




2)     Explore new market and develop Marketing strategy, exhibition, tie-ups with corporate build relation with architect ,builders, real estate, projects 


·         Maintain regular follow up with the existing Architects and Builders  also meeting with new potential client , create new client (new customer)

·         Coordination with BDM and Regional head for client visit and do reply of all inquiry

·         Arrange  sample of  marble where ever required and necessary through our factory

·         Active participation exhibitions

·         Accomplishing sales targets by thorough understanding of clients requirement

·         Assessing the client’s requirements, coordinating with purchase team, customer preferences for refurbishing the requirement accordingly

·         Achieve individual sales target


3)     Process Integrity:-

·         Ensure operation process and reports are in line with business requirement in company

·         Make sure customer relation shall be maintained with high dignity & transparency and according to company policy  take vigorous corrective actions if any 


4)   Team management & development :-


·         Finalize KRSs of direct reports and evaluate their performance

·         Indentify & review training needs of direct reports and nominate them for relevant training program

·         Motivate, retain and facilitate career growth of the team

·         Encourage cost and quality consciousness amongst team members


4)     Reports :-

·         Monthly reports of architect  meetings , marketing activities

·          Sales report ,client wise ,

·         Monthly analysis data of customer, existing customer new customer reports 

·         MIS report of sales and customer details i.e. potential customer
